North Morte Farm – Mortehoe, Woolacombe, North Devon

North Morte Farm has stunning scenery which will make your camping holiday one to remember. You choose your own pitches on arrival – they don’t take advanced bookings, so it’s recommeded to get there nice and early… for example on a bank holiday weekend, the campsite is usualy full by 6pm on the Friday evening.

The local village has 3 pubs, and an excellent village shop that sells freshly baked bread and most other things that you might want. The facilities on the campsite are good, there’s play areas that are well maintained for kids, and the toilets and showers are always in good order and cleaned regularly.

A recommended campsite, although its location next to the sea and so high up means it can be very exposed to wind. It’s fairly cheap… espically when most other campsites around the area are owned by one company that charge much more.
